He was the Official Reviewer of the Guidance Note on Audit of State Co-operative Banks & District Co-operative Banks published jointly by NABARD & ICAI.He was a Member of the Study Group to review Auditing & Assurance Standards issued by ICAI in light of the New Companies Act, 2013.
CA Ravi Kr. Patwa was the Chairman of the Eastern India Council (EIRC) of ICAI for the term 2022- 2023.He was the President of the Calcutta Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors for the Year 2019-20 and Advisor to the National Council of the Institute of Internal Auditors of India for the years 2020-21 and 21-22. He was the Chairman of Batgach, the largestindigenous Network of CA Firms in India for theperiod 2015-17.
He is a Chairman of the Assam State Council of FICCI. He was also a Member of the Regional Advisory Committee of Central Excise & Service Tax, Govt. of India from 2006 to 2017. He is a Member of Eastern Regional Taxation Council of ASSOCHAM. He is also a member of the Airport Advisory Committee of a keyairport in the State of Assam.
